You will find 8 different color combinations, which will suit all tastes. Knit original warm garments for the whole family, whether they are babies, children or adults. The composition of Lanas Katia Printed Tweed is:
100% acrylic. Acrylic fiber is a synthetic fiber made from acrylonitrile, from which it derives its generic name. Acrylonitrile was first obtained in Germany in 1893. It was one of the chemicals used by Carothers and her team in the fundamental research on high polymers that was carried out at the Du Pont company. Du Pont developed an acrylic fiber in 1944 and began commercial production of them in 1950. It was given the trade name Orlon. Some acrylic fibers are dry spun with solvents and others are spun wet. In solvent spinning, the polymers are dissolved in a suitable material, such as dimethylformamide, extruded in hot air, and solidified by evaporation of the solvent. After spinning, the fibers are hot drawn to three to ten times their original length, crimped, cut, and sold as staple fiber or continuous filament cord. In wet spinning, the polymer is dissolved in a solvent, extrusion is carried out in a coagulant bath, dried, crimped and collected in the form of a continuous filament cord for use in the bulking process or it is cut into fibers and it is packed. Acrylonitrile is relatively cheap, but the solvents are expensive, making spinning more expensive than other synthetic fibers This type of synthetic fiber is the most similar to natural wool, which will allow you to knit a very warm and comfortable garment, but soft when in contact with all skin types. The characteristics of Lanas Katia Printed Tweed are:
