Filleting, also known as netting, is an ancient and traditional craft for making lace. The Prym range includes the fillet set, which contains all the tools you need. It consists of three sticks of different widths, two fillet needles and a darning needle. With the help of the double crochet and the fillet needle, a web of yarn is first made, which in the second step is filled with darning stitches until the desired pattern or image on the lace is completed. So-called fillet lace has long adorned traditional Swiss costumes, but it can also decorate everyday objects such as blankets and curtains.
